I took a bike ride today and passed by the old gravel quarry on what used to be Scholls Ferry Road/now Barrows road in Beaverton. It looks like the developements are creeping right up to brink of the old quarry, however it appears the quarry itself has a 3 acre pond.
My question is does anyone know the city's plan for this site? Is the pond fishable ? Looks like they may be putting in lighting for a path around it and a viewing area. Would be a great spot to take kids fishing or do some quikie fishing.
