Does anyone out there know how or where to get ahold of a copy of the Ron Boggs book Columbia River Walleye II? I've got a hankerin' to chase some walleyes, and this book seems to be the preferred manual. Can't find it anywhere. Any leads would be appreciated.

I have mine, but not for sale. I also have his 2 other older books, one personally autographed. I did a search on Amazon dot com and they have 3 copies- one for $50 :bigshock:, 1 for $80 :bigshock: :bigshock:, and 1 for $100 :bigshock: :bigshock: :bigshock:
What's up with that??? I had no idea there was that big of a market for used books.

Mojo, I checked the book sites, too, and it wasn't encouraging, $-wise. :hoboy: Just though someone may have a line on a not-used-anymore copy?

I bought mine at Fishermans Marine supply a couple of years ago. Might call them and see if they still carry any. Did a froogle search and a copy came up for $100. Ouch! Somebody is pretty proud of their book.

Maybe Fish Mojo would give you the publishing house and you could contact them to see if they have any copies. Wonder what happened to Boggs as he used to be at the sportsman's shows, selling his books?

Spinhead,
Spent some time in Pendleton myself up on the hill at Blue U. Married a gal there as well. We may know some of the same folks.

PM me w/ your email address, I'd be happy to share my walleye info and charts of the Umatilla/Irrigon area.

spinhead,
I can get you his email if you want it. He is living in Montana and has come down with MS and not tournament fishing anymore. Let me know.

I've got a copy I'd be willing to let go of. Email or PM me.

Thanks, all, for the help. I met a guy where I work that let me borrow his copy, and I took notes. Good thing, too, the cheapest copy I found is fifty bucks! Now to get out and try to apply all my new book-learnin'!
