I have been a member of iFish for about a year now and I am quite pleased with the growth of this section. It is also great to see some folks that have primarily been salmon/steelhead fishermen visit and ask questions as well as contribute.

I enjoy almost every section that iFish has to offer (Hunting, General, FlyFishing, etc.), but I am most pleased that we get more and more folks here on a weekly basis. Bass fishing in the NW is continuing to grow and what better place to share information and fish stories than here!

So here is a congrats to all of us for nurturing a minority section of a great fishing site. Keep up the good work and spread the word. :yay:

I've noticed that there are quite a few Bass fisherman and "cross-overs" like myself out there.

Fishing for "green fish" is great and more and more Salmon, Trout, Steelheaders are figuring out how much fun they are!

Combo trips are GREAT this time of year. Today we went up to B-ville, caught some Smallmouth, 5 Pikeminnows  and anchored for Salmon for a while. No Salmon, but it was a Great day out there!!!!

I have been here even less and in the short time I have seen the place grow in leaps and bounds. The information and the fellowship shared between the bass fisherman here is second to none. Because of this site I have had the opertunity and privilage to study from my fellow fisherman and have learned more in the past 6 monthes then in the first 18 years of my life about bass. I definatly would like to extend a personal THANK YOU to all of the people out there that have helped me in so many ways!

Yes, I agree. I've primarily thought of myself as cold water fisherman, but I love my bass & walleye fishing too!
Silver or green, the color of fish makes no differance to me.... as long as it JUMPS!! :yay: :yay:
I wouldn't mind getting down on the Smith after the stripped variety. :yay: :yay:

The walleye just plain taste good! And a couple juveniles for the pan is just fine on the fishery, the adults go back to breed more eaters. (walleye eaters for me are 4-8lb)
:smash: :smash: :smash: Yum, yum.

I hear ya man. I am a bass guy from age 4 or so and just recently got into salmon/steelhead when I moved up here a couple years ago. I have never fished for walleye though...one of these days!

fellas... shhhhhuushhh!!! lol. We don't want our waters filled with fishermen like those poor souls who strictly fish for Salmon/steelhead do we??? (just kidding). Seriously, though, this site has been great. I learn alot about techniques and places I may or may not fish. But good to have reports on those bodies of water anyway. Bassers are great about "sharing" knowledge, unlike some of the Salmon/steelheaders I've encountered. Maybe it's our catch and release mentality. Anyway, thanks for all the good posts and photos.

I must admit to being suprised to see this part of ifish grow recently. It's good to see so many warm water fishers out here in the N.W. Many people dont realize the quality WW fisheries we have here. Sometimes I hope that to many people dont discover it.

ifish has become a great meeting place. I have made some new friends that enjoy the WW fishing experience. A lot of my old fishing buddies dont understand why I spend so much time in my bass boat instead of my sled. Some are starting to understand why, I just hope they adopt the mind set that they have a place here in the N.W. like all of you here on the WW board.

Thanks gang! Its fun over here on the dark side.
