Spent the last 10 days over on the Snake fishing Oxbow. Weather was interesting but very fishable. We caught around 175 cats in our boat, mainly fishing in the morning. Caught Crappie and Bluegills in the evening to use for food and bait for the cats. Crappie still had eggs in them but the vents were pooching out on some. Crappie fishing was real spotty and the most we caught in one evening, 3 to 4 hours was 26. We had several Crappie in the 14 inch size, most ran 10 inch or better. Bluegills were small, but made great bait.

Sounds like a good time, how big were the Catfish?

Up to seven pounds or so. A couple of boats fishing with us had a 10 and 12 pounder. The average weight probably ran 3-4 pounds, just right for eating.
