Brownlee update

Spent last week at Brownlee. We had all 4 seasons of weather including howling winds. The crappie was very spotty at best. Bass fishing was excellent however. I caught 53 one day on a white crappie tube with a nibble. I believe the crappie are in full spawn as the few we did catch in 15' of water were without eggs. We fished at night from the dock and caught the most crappie of the trip. 15 in 4 hrs. in 8' of water. These fish were loaded with eggs. Must have been pre-spawn fish.

I can attest to the weather. It was all four seasons, if you didn't like the heat all you had to do is wait 5 minutes and you were shivering!
