Hi all!!
I've been fishing in salt for a while.
Got my own boat,got married,wife had a kid,started taking them out with me.
We fish in some deep water.
They got tired of reeling up.looked in getting an electric reels,but man!!!! 300 to 700 clams$$$ PLUS YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE FISH :depressed:

I went down to target,got an cordless electric screw driver.
BLACK&DECKER(one with 2 AA battys)
wired a cig plug adaptor(12vlt) took off the cover on reel handle.
Used 10mm socket for my daiwa's works on penns as well but you need to replace the flower handle screw with a hex head
screw.(OLLIE'S in portland)
Tested it up to 12 16 24oz jigs. NOT TO FIGHT FISH JUST TO RETRIVE YOUR GEAR!!!! :cheers:
