I fished the D today. Caught a handfull of fish and broke the last 1" off of my 4 wt :eek: Godd luck CM, I was told by another angler that the salmonfly bite was red hot between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on Thursday night. I saw lots of adults flying from 11:00 on... the trout just didn't like what I had to offer.

Saturday, Sunday turned into Saturday, sunday and monday.

the fishing was good...as you all already know. one word CADDIS.

Managed a good number of fish and 3 fish that were 20"+.

The hatch was LATE...and the water turned into a buffet of caddis. I've got some pics, but I have to develop the film and scan...Good luck everyone,and watch out for snakes! I saw at least 4 a day. :bigshock:

Thanks for the report!!!! :cheers: :cheers: I love those late evening caddis hatches. You can't even see your fly - just chuck it out there and wait for the violent take, then ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz! Woooohoooo!!!!! So, CM, where abouts, roughly of course, were you fishing?
