Okay bamboo rod fans! Here we go for this weeks installment

The tip rod segments are ready for binding and tempering

The bound sections are placed in the oven for curing. This took all day so Mike and I killed off several Heinekens :cheers:

Now we'll get them down to final taper and next week we'll glue them :dance:

Heinekens are an introduced species in Oregon. They should be eradicated.:grin:

nice looking work Stew. So it sounds to me like Heiniken is a much needed ingrediant of bamboo rod building. Can you not use more of a native beer in this process, like Bridgeport or something?
