Who is in for Warm Springs to Trout Creek Friday June 3? Figuring we'll put in around 9 or 10. I will have a 2 person RapidCat for the trip:dance: with Riverkeeper up front. If any experienced/responsible rowers without a boat are interested, I am willing to lend my driftboat (will float three comfortably).
Anyone?...

Don't you guys ever fish on weekends?
I might be able to swing it and have a boat, but I won't know until next week if its possible.
Is this gonna be an overnighter? Will TillamookChinook be there to make gourmet smores by the campfire?

Depends on how much work I get done between now and then. Might have to be a last minute decision. How far in advance does a person need to get his float permit this year?
BTW, my recollection is that I served fresh baked brownies, not s'mores. The entree was chopped garlic browned in butter poured over chopped fresh tomatoes on pasta, served with Wild Chinook Pale Ale.

I'd be up for rowing the boat Jon, just need to see when the wife leaves on her next trip back east.
I'll get back to you.

I think I'd rather sleep till 6am, drive to the river, and catch 10 nice trout than get up at 3am, drive to the river, and catch 12 nice trout. Besides, the bite always starts around 11 am over there.

Stop you guys, you're killing me. Tomorrow you all head out to the D and I get on a plane to the Netherlands for two grueling weeks of work, zero fishing time ( there ought to be some sort of International treaty banning that ! ). :hoboy:
So catch a nice fat trout and drink a beer at days end for me. May the wind be slight and at your back, the stonefly hatch be plentiful and the fish thrilled at your presentation ( how's that for bastardizing in Irish blessing ?)

Robert, Just kidding ... I was looking forward to getting a roll cast clinic from the master himself. Next time.
Windknot, Thanks for the reminder... I almost forgot to pack the beer.
