View Full Version : Anyone Else Get Jitters?

I have two weeks before I head to the Big D for a week. I'm trying to get a bunch of work done beforehand. But, it's a real challenge. My insides are tense with anticipation of the trip and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Have difficulty concentrating and staying on task. My mental preparation list keeps scrolling through my head, getting longer with each scroll. Is there soemthing wrong with me, or do others do the same thing?
Then I come across pics like this from previous trips - and it just gets worse! :help:

Now why'd you have to go do that? I am planning on being out on Sunday... problem is that it's only Thursday! Man I'd love to hook a beauty like that... if nobody goes with me, how am I going to get sweet action photos like these?

Research shows that the two least productive days of a worker's time are the day before vacation and the day after... Looks like it could be a more severe problem in your case.

There goes any productivity until my trip on Thursday of next week to the John Day. I have to admit though, I've been thinking about it for a month. I can't wait to get on the water! Have fun at the big D Chromaflage!

I often get the jitters the night bbefore an early rise for a great day of fishing. I won't be able to sleep for crap that night. I could be waking up at 3:30am, and I am up, ready to go. Funny how it's not quite the same for work! :crazy: I am getting ready to go to flyfish for the 1st time over memorial day wknd, and already its has a little extra hop in my step. :dance: I can't wait!! Hope that everyone else has a great holiday as well!!
