In the past 3 years, I have had boats to mechanics more than any sane person should.

Up til this point, it had been a bumpy road. Over time(by 3 weeks once!). Over budget. Going 300.00 over a quoted price without ever calling me to let me know. Your basic bad deal all around.

A couple weeks back, the big Yamaha got sick. I called the last Yamaha wrench in town, North River. They got it in quick. Called me with a quote. Finished the work on time. And on budget.

They were polite and professional in all of their dealings with me.

I have test driven it for 3 days now. Zero problems.

I hope we never heave to get her fixed again, but if we do, the folks at North River will get the call.

So what kind of problem were you having with your yamaha?

The only things engine wise that the big Yammie have ever had is a bad coil.

It was at NR for bad fuel. Which aint a motor failure.

A past engine was a real thorn in my side.

The present boat has been alright from a reliability standpoint.
