Any ideas where I can get the square aluminum tubing that is used for the frame work on boat tops? I think it is 1 inch.
West Marine has it plus the fittings....R....

Alaska Copper and Brass in S.E. Portland has about anything in non-ferrous metals.

May I suggest stainless tubing? My partners aluminum one is all bent and cracked (2 yrs old) For what it will cost to do the aluminum again he could of had one that would last a lifetime. And yess it is 1" square with .125 wall thickness

Did you find your aluminum tubing? Let me know I have to order a bunch of it for some ladder racks I have to build. We can throw on a couple more sticks

I have purchased from west marine but have found that if boaters world had it, it will be for less. They are at jantzen beach near home depot/ pier one.

try metals supermarket near the pdx costco. they cut to length so you don't buy more than you need. it is a little more expensive than buying in standard lenghts.
