View Full Version : Machine shop?
Can anyone please suggest a decent machine shop that will bore out the cylinders on my '75 Mercury? I am having a terrible time trying to find someone who is capable that can do it in a timely manner. Or maybe someone has a used powerhead they need to get rid of? Any help is greatly appriciated.

Im sher that ether Island Marine salvage or Oregon outboard salvage would have a power head wont be cheap but much cheaper then a rebuild Hope this helps. :shrug:

I can vouch for Bearing Service as well. Talk to Brian or Gene.
Is your Merc a blind bore? A lot of shops can't deal with those.

Charlie Brown he is just off of 82nd in portland. Watch out for the shops that promise to get it back fast. There's a reason they have that much time vacant to fit it in
