So, I drove by over the weekend via Clear Lake Rd. and the lake is drawn down, for sure. There's a piece in Wednesday's Register-Guard about some of the things that are surfacing (pretty interesting read), but that's not why I post here now...
There's still a lake there (though small and receding every day) and I am wondering if anyone has insight as to what's going on with the bass and crappie habitat and Coyote Creek. I figure on the one hand if there's a season for good fishing in a small craft, this would have to be the year - fewer places to hide from my senkos. On the other hand, with the draw down, the temps might get too high too quickly and the whole place will go to ... umm, the birds, so to speak.
Anyone have insights on the happs out yonder Fern Ridge way?
