My 2001 9.9 evinrude is over heating. :whazzup:
I have checked the water pump, so that is ruled out.
can anyone give me some suggestions?
Is water coming out at a steady stream? If not, you could try blowing it out.

I tried to blow it out, and I could get water to run through the cooling system, but the motor will not pump water on it's own. :whazzup: :smash:

May have a plugged by-pass @ the t-stat. Or a blown head gasket. That is also a common cause of O/H
