Can you zinc the drive shaft on inboard jet pumps?

If you need to zinc the impeller shaft, you NEED to get some other issue delt with first my man. If corrosion is an issue just do more maint. on it and check ALL the grounds on your boat.
Putting a zinc on the shaft will cause a severe vibration and lead to premature bearing and shaft failure. Not to mention if it came off it would destroy the impeller and possably the output nozzle. :smash:
