John Day cats

Anybody heard of or been up to the John Day river to catch some catfish yet, planning a trip soon :cheers:

The camp ground host at lapage park told me that some cats have showed up in some of the catches. Should be turning on big time, soon.

Me and my dad got up bright and early to go fishing there last saturday and when we got there the river was chocolate!

what type of cat? channel or bull head?

Both, All the bullheads you want. Channels are a little bit harder.
