I have a 15 foot lowe sled about 20 years old, that leaks due to a couple bottom cracks. Too much sand bar action on the snake in idaho. I'm getting ready to try to sell it. Anybody have any ideas about how to fix it, I'm not much of a welder.

Take and have it Rinho lined on the outside. That will seal all leaks and should go a little faster. Mine did

You could also check GI Joes. They have something similar to the Rhino lining in the boat section. It comes in a one gallon can. I don't know if it would work quite as well or look as nice but, it might do the trick.
If you put anything like rino lining on it a welder will have problems fixing it right. Go to a good weld shop and get it fixed.

I weld aluminum and 20 yr old aluminum is a pain to weld because of impurities. The welds will just keep cracking. Is this a boat your going to keep? or sell it to sombody and cut them a good deal because of cracks.Rhino will flex with the boat and seal it for life.Welds will recrack.I've tried the spray liner from wal-mart and it works just not nearly as tough as rhino or linex.should work fine if under floor boards.Mine got ground off on the rocks when it was no bottom
