I am looking to ad a couple more outlets in the cabin of my 26ft fiberform. I have never wired something like this, I have noticed that there are breaker switches down by the motor and asuming that has something to do with it. Do these outlets run while running the boat or just when plugged to the dock power source. Is there a good web site that would show a good wiring diagram? and a good explanation on how these work?
Any help would be much apreciated

Unless your boat has a generator or inverter the outlets (if they look like household-type outlets) are for shore power.

You will need to specify what type electrical outlet you want to install 12/24V DC or 120/240V AC. The breakers you see could be for either AC or DC circuits. Post pictures and add more info wiring either would not be that difficult. As what was stated above unless you have a generator or inverter the AC outlets would only work on shore power.
