i was on a retreat for our youth group this weekend in Lexington and we went fishing at Willow Creek Lake.we managed some ok sized rainbows,but while we were fishing we kept noticing some crappie that were right by the bank.some were dead and some were on thier way out.what was causing this do you think?all the crappie were the same size and it was all over the lake not just one particular thought.

I dont know what causes this on any given body of water, but I once saw hundreds of baby bass dead along the shores at Craine Praire. When we asked the guy at the lodge about it, he had no explaination.

There is only one WW bioligist in Oregon and he works mostly west side waters. I would like to know what his theroy on why this happens though.
