I will be in Pacific City next week and was hoping to toss a few flies into the river for a metalhead :dance:. Does anyone have any holes to suggest and flies to use.

I was down there for four days two weeks ago and did pretty good. There is a public boat launc in hebo. It is just before the town I think it is hayden road if you go over three rivers you just missed it . Go early to beat the locals. The pool as you walk in is a great holding place and thne walk down for almost two miles on the farmers land for 1 dollar decent water if you have a good rollcast. DO NOT CRoss the river below trhe first run the local who lives there is nuts!!!! Will meet and greet with gun and sherriff. Also if the water is good you can go farteher up towards moon creek has decent fly water. I did good with leech paterns beadheads that have green ane blue also with tube flies of blue and black or purple. In hebo is a fishing store the two main guys will give pretty good info also.
