I caught this large male hatchery steelhead today. He was 36 inches long and weighed 17 pounds, 6 ounces on my Rapala digital scales. I only removed him from the water once to weigh him and then released him.

Hopefully he won’t be my biggest steelhead of the year. I know he’s not as big as the fish Tillamook Chinook hasn’t caught.

Still looking for a 20 plus pounder.

Any steely is a nice steely, especially when it weighs in the upper teens!

I would love to take you up on that, but two problems: 1) I don't drink and try to avoid bars  sorry; 2) I work nights (yeah I'm at work now)

Nice to see you today, Andy. All the fish seemed larger today then they have been. That one is a dandy!!
