Salmonberry

hey, has anyone been fishing the salmonberry yet? i figured it should be picking up sometime real soon. figured i might head down there this saturday. any info is greatly appreciated.

I posted the same question about a week ago. I have heard mixed reports - low, clear and even lower and clearer. Fish have been sighted, but tough fishing I'm told.

For all I know the Clackamas Fly Fishers are heading up there on Sat. as well. That could change if there is no rain.

Signs of spawning activity (redds) have been reported.

Way low and way clear. The fish need all of the water they can get and are on redds. :hoboy:

Let's leave em' alone boys....

I do however know of other spots that are producing! PM if interested.
