A friend and I went to Hagg Lake today. We spent some time exploring with his Aqua-Vu camera, some time bass fishing and some time fishing for crappie and bluegill. Ended up with 1 largemouth and 3 smallmouth between 12" & 15" and a trout. The trout was caught on a natural colored Senko. Must have thought it was a real nightcrawler. Water temp was 51-54.

Thanks for the report. If the Willamette wasn't so good right now I would be on Hagg.

So what did you see on the aqua view? Anything cool?

We saw bottom and structure but we never found enough concentration of fish to see any. Had to find them the old fashion way.

I didn't do so hot on the Willamette the other day either, Shalom. Pounded the bank for four hours and only had one hit. Then about ten minutes before I quit, I hooked a nice smallmouth and had it come unbuttoned at the boat. :depressed:

You slill did better than me . I fished about 3- hours and didn't have a good bite . I had about 3 fish peck at my tube and i think that they were small crappies . I was able to log on easier than i thought that i would .I could not e-mail my password to the moderator . It seems to be working for now . I quit fishing when thing started going south . I quit when i got my line into my electric motor .I stopped my motor as quickly as i could , i looked at it last night and the line had bent the shear pin . I will have to pick up a spare now .

Hey Rebell. Sounds like you're doing ok on the River. You fishing Scappose bay? Awhile back you had posted that you might take your son to Vancouver Lake. Did you go? How did you do?
