My cotton canvas morring cover gave up after 2 years of service. I have given up on reparing that thing, it just doesn't have any tear resistence left. I don't currently have a garage for my 18ft SeaRunner so it looks like I need a better (long term solution) cover. My dealer doesn't have a better solution for me than the first one I purchased. I am finding it very difficult to find a 5-year uv/tear resistent cover that fits the 03's SeaRunners 25" high window. It must also handle snow and cold temps. Has any Hewescraft owners had any luck finding a good cover manufacturer for this boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you contact Hewes, they can tell you who up there is doing the tops and covers.
IF you were down in these parts, I'd recomend Jerry's Upholstery located 30 mins east of Portland.
A travel/mooring cover for my 179 SR was ~$400, made of Top-Gun material.
Really, really glad I had it during my Vancouver Island boat camping trip.

I'll second the option to go see Jerry, 503-668-7132.
Hands down, he's the best there is. He did my mooring cover, which he said I could tow with too, curtains and console cover. Very reasonable prices and he builds them right. He's a one man shop, so no excuses.

Thanks Guys,
I appreciate the help!
I checked with a local guy who does the custom covers and he wants around $700 for a top-gun cover that you can travel with. He said it would take about 4 days to make and it would last ~10 years in the yakima area. I'm going to seriously consider making the investment. Sound like that material is good stuff.
