View Full Version : Fall River or Crooked River?
I'm going to be in Sunriver this weekend for a reunion of sorts, and what to take a few out of state experienced fly fishers to either the Fall River or the Crooked. I've never fished Fall River, but have always wanted to. On the other hand, I've fished the Crooked more times than I can count, but none of my guests have. Any comments or suggestions on fishing Fall River or which river to fish this weekend?

If want to have the chance to catch lots of fish then fish the Crooked. The flow is quite low now and the fish should be kegged up. Fall River is fishing ok, but you'll not have the chance to get nearly as many fish.

Fall River guy is right. Crooked has way more fish to be caught. Word of caution though...I was there last Saturday and I didn't get anything!!! Talked to a lot of others on the river and it was just really, really slow. Normally though, the Crooked is money.
