This is what I love about fishing.

Last week I visited a private pond. Ok I hooked and landed one fish. Then some guy showed up, tossed his fly line into the water with a strike indicator and hooked one fish after another.

Damn ! Made me feel insignificant.

Ok ! What are you using.

Midges !

Last night I went back to this same pond.

Now there is at least six big trout swimming around with what used to be my Midge collection.

7X 6X ? forget it.

How many times have I sat there with trout rising all around me going after midges and me with my stupid Wooly bugger ?

I never could make them work.

Well not no more. I bet my Catch Ratio is going to climb.

Do you have any idea how many places I have been this year and been skunked because the trout were only interested in Midges ? They are in trouble now..... :yay:

Now I have more flies to tie.

BTW I bet I hooked Fifteen trout and didn't land one....

Except with my other fly rod and a different set up. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to switch.

I'll get some revenge tonight and that's a promise.
