View Full Version : Prayer request for a friend (UPDATE)

We have some friends who found out they were pregnant ealier in 2004. The sad news is that they lost the child, and then found out they had some sort of molar tumor thing in her uterus (very rare). She went through chemo and all, and they are now approaching the end of their waiting period before they can start trying again. She's recently had some other tests done, and they have now found a spot in her brain that they are not yet sure what it is (could be nothing, MS, a stroke, tumor, etc). She's having tests done today that will hopefully help shed some details on what's going on. Needless to say, she and her husband are both VERY concerned about all of this...as are we. I ask that if you have a spare moment, please pray for health and wellness for my friend.

Thanks everyone! She had another test the other day, and is now just waiting for some results. :angel1:
Thanks Bernie...we're doing better these days. Our chins are back up from the miscarriage, the car is back in the driveway (finally), and we signed a contract to build a house. So, knock on wood :smash:, come August life will be nice (we'll be in the new house, I'll be done FINALLY with my MBA program, and we'll have a different set of wheels to drive around to help save a little $).
So....all that said....life is looking up. Now to just find some time and a space on a bank to do a little fishing. :grin:

Things are looking up. You guys kept the faith, and it worked. Glad you found a place to build. That's so exciting!

Got the word last night from her... MS, no. Tumor, no. Nothing, no. Looks like she may have had a minor stroke a while back...but the doctors arent worried. Said for her to take aspirin daily and come back in a year, but otherwise, she's in great shape!
