 <font color="blue"> Hi Everyone! </font>

Sturgeon fishing has been fun! :yay: Not a lot of <font color="red"> 'Keepers'</font> this time of year but lots and lots of the smaller ones - they are called <font color="red"> 'Shakers' </font> because most of the time you can just shake them off your line over the water.

<font color="blue"> On Len's last trip they caught around 40 or so fish! </font>

Here is a couple of pictures of Shakers.

<font color="blue"> It was a beautiful day on the Willamette! </font>

This picture is a little dark because the top of the boat is throwing a shadow - but this shows the belly of the Sturgeon and his sucker mouth.

Here is one that is a <font color="red"> 'Keeper'! </font> A nice fat one!

They are so much fun to catch.  Really put up a good fight! Astoria is the place to fish for them this summer.

The Astoria Fishery has lots and lots of <font color="red"> 'Keepers' </font> !

<font color="blue"> The Astoria Fishery opens MAY 14th and will close somewhere around the July 4th Holiday. </font>

We still have some dates left open in May. Our June is almost full but we do have a few open here and there.

<font color="green"> LET'S GO FISHING !! </font>
