I had several hours off Friday morning after a no sleep night. Being the fishing addict I am I decided to scout out Eagle Creek from Bonnie Lure on down. I walked the entire distance in or along the creek. Even in the few deep areas there were no fish at all. Before coming to them I did cast there but after getting no takes I visually looked it over and there are simply no fish. I fished at the mouth, then up and down river. Nothing. 2 driftboats also reported nothing. One guy said he heard a friend of his had landed 4 fish on a drift on the Sandy. I'm ready to try for smallmouth about now.
