I hit Eagle Creek for a few hours mid day today. Very little water, low and clear. Saw absolutely NO FISH. I talked with the hatchery staff and apparently only 4 fish in the past week.

Did you check the water temp?
The Sandy has only had one fish at the hatchery (the entire winter) and one native in the traps at Marmot. Clack hasn't opened their trap yet.
We really need rain...

Like a dummy I forgot my thermometer. But, it was cold. (The water, that is. It was a sunny, very warm day and at times even too warm on the creek).

I heard the Clack opened their trap on Feb. 1 and they've only got 12 steelhead (all summers). That is info taken off another website.
