I am researching buying my first small boat but have one problem... at this point there is no real place I can store anything let alone a trailor because of my living situation (i live in a 3 story town home with VERY limited space). So the question is, should I go inflaitable for a temporary access situation, or is there a small boat that can fit in the back of a larger van and is light weight enough to 2 person carry down to the water?

I agree! A porta-boat. But watch the weather, it can get pretty nasty on the larger rivers and small boats don't do well. Wouldn't want to read about you in the paper!! Have fun.

I have a friend who bought a 12 foot car topper aluminum. He does not have a lot of storage area either, so he keeps the boat mounted upsidedown on the top of his vehicle.
Puts him on any water he wants to fish.

I've got a pontoon boat that I'm going to use to bust up the ponds for largemouths...can't really go wrong.
