Hi All,

I've been bank bound for awhile and I would like to find a way to get out on the water without buying a regular boat (nowhere to put it and too broke to pay for storage). A canoe or kayak would also be too bulky for me to move around and store. So, a raft is looking like a good idea. Ideally, I would like something that can hold 2 people and that I could take on lakes, the Willamette, and the John Day. I think I would be happy with a small motor. Is this a reasonable idea? And if so, any ideas on what size and brands would be good?
Thanks for any help!

Bob

This has allways been a bad idea for me(hooks&rubber)!! I would recomend a small 8ft plastic boat. a good one is a walker bay boat.I have friends that are in the same boat you are in.(LOL),they have them and love them.
:yay:

Several years ago I purchased two one-man pontoons, one for me and one for my sweetheart. We drift the John-Day often for smallies. She became a good oarsman in a short time. The advantage is she dosn't have to fish in the same waters I do.Unfortunatly, she often outfishes me by catching the largest.Last summer she boated a 19 3/4 smallie.
