willamette river bass

Any info on fishing the river early would be great.

Lovefishin has been out on the willamette. Has caugh fish too, but I have not seen any post by him for awhile. Something like 5 fish on 2/5 in about 30 feet water. I think that is the report, but I got it second hand so not doubly sure.

It's early, but there are fish to be caught. :grin: I would say go....you won't be disapointed.

Thanks for the info guys ,I'm defenetly comming . I'm looking for locations to fish below the falls in my boat. I dont want your secret holes but some places to start. :help:

You get good second hand reports, bucketmouth. We did get 5 in the boat Saturday. The smallest was 13" and the largest was 17 1/2", all smallies.
