Well, its a popular choice- Gammy EWG's in various sizes work for all plastics.
Never had a need to try anything else.

A couple years back the 3/0 sized EWG models were pretty suspect. The barbs kept bending on them. My buddy switched to owners then but I havent had any issues in a long time, and none on larger sizes than the 3/0. I use a lot of their superline hooks now too

Owner Rig'n hook in size 1 or 2 is also a good choice.
Im currently (for the first time) trying mustad EWG, size 1/0. So far they have done admirably.
Gamakatsu split shot/drop shot in size 1 for drop shotting too.
Tru Turn fine wire hooks in size 4 works good for fishing grubs weedless like worms or senko's if a body had a hanker'n to fish that way.
Hagg has been turning on. several smallmouth to 19 inches. Have not broke the 20 inch barrier yet.

For nose-hooking tubes and "senkos" I use Pierce and VMC circle hooks size 2-1/0. Almost always the fish are hooked in the corner of the mouth. I remove the kirbing while mashing the barb.

OK so I'm sure everyone has a preference here so lets hear it!
Gamakatsu 2/0 - 5/0 EWG for tubes, senkos, craws, and creatures
Gamakatsu straight round bend 2/0 - 4/0 for worms.
I've used Owners too with good success.

Mustad "Ultra Points". I like the EWG style hooks as they are a bit heavier and take down senko style baits a little better. They also seem to touch up to the file a bit better then some others.
