A friend and I fished Tues. and Wed. and had great weather and decent fishing. We caught most fish in the submerged forest areas on the west side. He was throwing a black lizard, and I was using a Senko. Most fish were around 3-4 lbs. but had one bigger one (5-6lbs) shake off at the boat before we could lip it. The fish were visible, from the boat, sunning on the top of lay down logs. The fish were easy to spot when they were on the logs, but down more than 5 feet, the visibility was gone because of the algae. The fish seem to still be in spawn mode, (i could kinda tell by the girth of this little girl.

Awesome pics! Today at CP it was windy, nasty, rainy.....but the fish were biting!

The spawn has been over for a couple weeks. No more beds, no males with fry.....fish are setting up on summertime spots. Those big bellies are full of sticklebacks!
