FEISTY, if you come across a rattler, be sure you get it before it gets you. a neighbor went to move a flat basalt rock 2 years ago, and the small rattler spending the day under it bit his little finger. neighbor underwent treatment for months and months and a year later ended up with most of the use of the finger. the tissue damage done by venom was GHASTLY; it looked like his finger was simply rotting away!

Ok you two..... Rattlers are simple. If you're going to lift a rock, look for holes under it, beforehand. So to speak.

Snakes are cautious. Us, not too. They'll stay quiet. Us, not so much. When they're disturbed, and riled up, they don't stand on ceremony before they strike. Much like us.....

Stay aware, watch where you walk, and stay out of their Way.... If you're aware, and you hear them, stop. And move back. Problem solved.

Hope that helps.... T
