does any one know any place around vancouver wa to do some blue gill fishing sliver lake just gets too many jet skiers that like to buzz around you when your fishing in the lilly pads , i would rater fish off the bank Thanks

Lacamus lake is the obvious choice. The blue gill are mostly small, but some big ones come out of there every year. Lots of pleasure boaters there too. Jet ski and speed boats galore. Maybe you might want to try Horseshoe Lake or even Kress lake. Horseshoe has skiers but Kress does not. Both have warm water fish.

From what I understand, if you go to Lacamas early in the morning then the jet skiers aren't so bad.....

The season is open now, but like the cougars and the bears it is really hard to get them wihtout bait or dogs. A six pack used to be the bait of choice and a fiesty Rotweiler could run them ashore. :grin:

thanks for the input i went to Kress lake and caught a few sunfish on a pearl tube jig 1/80 of.oz and no bobber also caught one bass about 11" on that jig
