Fished all last week on these two resivoirs. Hells Canyon was definitly the better of the two for crappie and cats. Didn't catch as many crappie as usual, but the ones we did get were decent size (8 - 11 inches). The water was ripping at the upper end below the turbines, and pine creek was blown out, but we did manage some nice 5 -6 lb. cats below the spillway on cut bait. Oxbow was the go to spot for smallies. We averaged about 15 fish per hour. Size ranged from 6 inches all the way to a really nice 19 inch fish.
