Saturday fished out on the upper willamette. fished around the molalla river area and caught around fourty small mouth the largest one was 3.5 lots of small fish all on drop shot ....no cranking fish. Was a great day!

Hey Eggbouncer! I`m fairly new at the bassin` stuff, so maybe you or some one else on this site can answer my question. Is there a way to tell the diff between a "hen" and a "buck" smallie? I mean other than the hen has a large stomach and is generally larger. I don`t have a problem w/ "nooks" or "SH" but are there similarities like that w/ bass? Thanx ahead of time. Fishft.

well I am not verygood at telling when i have a hen or a buck smallie. there has to be some way to tell the diffrence. maybe someone else can respond to this post.

Wow! That sounds like fun! I was driving by there yesterday after a meeting, and was thinking to myself "Bass! :smile: " I wish I'd had time to put those thoughts to good effect!
