The site that used to post Willamette River levels and temps for Portland seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know if the site changed? If not, temp postings for the group would be awesome! jb

Go to ODFW fish page follow link to dam counts or follow the link on the data page of this site (or click the link here): willamette falls fish passage page (odfw) (http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/InfoCntrFish/InterFish/Willam.html)
I think the temps are for Salem and a day or 2 behind, but should give ya an idea, hop this helps!

I use this page from the USGS site:
web page (http://waterdata.usgs.gov/or/nwis/current/?type=flow)
Just scroll down to "14211720 WILLAMETTE RIVER AT PORTLAND, OR"
Since it's all in Celsius, I use this temp. converter:
web page (http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm)
I also like that you can look up what the temps. were for the past 2 years.

After you click "14211720", you have to scroll down, highlight temperature in "Available Parameters" and click "get data."

This is a little easier...
CLICK HERE (http://waterdata.usgs.gov/or/nwis/current?type=quality&group_key=basin_cd&search_sit e_no_station_nm)
Scroll down to Willamette River at Portland.
Put your cursor over the temperature and it converts it for you.

In portland the Temp is 44.24 Deg. F.
I will give her a try Saterday. Any one like to join me?
From shore, I have a few good spots near each other so I do not need to put the boat in to give it a try.

I'm thinking of going out today. Anybody have any suggestions on what water to target and what to use?
