Hey Striper Catcher, I've been over there several times for the stripers. Don't be telling me how great it is or I'll come over and ruin the fishing, again. It's always been hot "last week". Thanks for the info. I think I'll stay home and let you continue to have good fishing...Sal

There's a few of us lurking around that have some striper experience down here on the S.Coast. I've been seeing quite a few of them while shad fishing so far this month, so I bet they've been doing pretty good on the coquille and smith. Too bad we can't fish the coos for them until the 1st above the forks. Good to see there's a lot of fish around though. I typically don't go after them much until fall and I flyfish for them in the flats in the bay. That can be pretty wild but a secretive thing with the locals. Lots of people will talk but not many will show. What baits and lures are working the best for you?

I saw a lot the other night when I went out after them, but didn't get any takers. They were jumping right next to the boat too! Oh well, Still made for a awesome morning of going to work the next day after being out till 1am.
