The wife and I fished the Willamette below the falls this sat and did well. She had 3 fish caught and released before I had 1!!! We caught about 12 smallmouth between us in about 2 hours from the bank, most of the fish were caught with a storm "wild eye swim shad" in the perl color. I also hooked a few on a perl white zoom fluke, and a couple more on hand poured 4" worms (brown with a neon green stripe). I seen 1 largemouth about 4-5 lbs cruzing around but could not get a take. My 6 year old son also caught one on a blue and white floating rapala, that made his day!!!! Its great to hear him yell "Fish on". Today(sun) was a different story , the river dropped some and the fish moved out.
