I am asking for some prayer here....
My grandmother who would be turning 93 in Feb. is not doing very well. We thought we were going to lose her a couple of weeks ago. Howhever, being her stubborn old self, she has hung on. This morning my father called me, and informed me that she is starting to fade. Her dear Lord is calling her home, and it hurts. You see, "Granny", has been the matriarch of my family on my mother's side of the family since my grandfather died when I was 15. She will be terribly missed. The down side to this is my mother's birthday is tomorrow (28th). I don't need the prayers so much for myself. I am dealing with it as best I can through faith and the assurance that she will be with her lord and saviour Jesus Christ. The one that are going to need prayers the most are my mother, my aunt, and my uncle, as they are her children, and if I know them, they will be taking this very, very hard. The other two that I will need prayers for are my daughter who isn't yet 5, and my cousins son, who loves his "old granny". If it isn't too much to ask, I would appreciate it. Thank you, and God Bless.

Sorry to hear that your Grandmother is slipping away.
But take comfort in that She will be in Heaven with Her Saviour, and you will see Her again.
Yes I will pray.

Thank you all. I went and saw her last night. It was hard. When I saw her on Tuesday, with my daughter, she seemed pretty good. When I saw her last night, it was like she was barely there. My older brother drove down from Washington to see her as well. I just missed seeing him when I got there. My dad said he had a tough time as well. He wasn't prepared for what he saw. One of my aunt's neighbors came over last night to offer his prayers and assistance. As he is a retired minister, he said he felt compelled to come over. The pastor of our church had been there as well. He had a devotional with her and they prayed. She is ready to go home, and I'll be rejoicing for her when she does, because she'll be in a much better place than here. She has had a good life and long life, and now it's time to start a new and better one. Thank you all, again for the support and prayer. Keep it coming. My family is needing them right now. God Blees all of you.

Update:
My grandmother went to be with her lord Sunday night about 10:30. My family is doing well. We all rejoice in the knowledge that she is with her lord and saviour. My daughter likes to think that her "old granny" is up there dancing with the angels. Thank you all for your prayers.

My prayers are with you and your family. If the worst happens remember she has had life with many joys I would think. She will rest until resurrection day and be restored to you in Heaven as an immortal being to be forever in the lord. NO more tears, no more sorrows. It will be hardest on the young ones who love her, I remember when my great grandma died she was and still 30 years later my most loved relative, I have looked forward for all this time to see her again. She rests in the lord and come resurrection day I hope to be sitting next to her grave to see her rise from death to immortality.
So sorry for your loss. I admire your positive outlook in these trying times. I realy like how your Daughter thinks.
Praying for comfort for your family.
