If you would ever like to look a lake over before you have ever been there, Check out this HANDY & FREE web site! web page (http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=4&S=8&Z=10&X=10209&Y=100841&W=2)
This is a great tool! I use it to show people fishing spots. You can zoom in or out and move around. You can switch to a topo map of the same area. Try this out and let us know what you think!!!!

P.S. this small lake has LOT of bass and they are all very dumb bass. Oops this lake is closed to fishing :-) I found out after catching 25 bass in 15 min.

Roger,
That is an awesome site. I actually got an urban view of the lake closest to my house that I go to once in awhile.

I've used Terra Server since 1999. It helps me locate new clear cuts for deer hunting. Great site.

Roger,
I posted it last night but it looks like it got removed.
To Moderators, please accept my apologies. It was not my intent to post something that wasn't allowed.

On the other hand, sometimes a topo map is more useful than a photo. Here's one that I like for general lake work, if nothing else is available. Changing the map size and scale are very useful buttons to find! C&R, Steve

Thanks for posting this site. Great.
So that private lake is at 185th & Walker on the Beaverton/Hillsboro boundry.
If you go north a couple of miles you get to this smal pond - a THPRD park (http://terraserver.microsoft.com/addressimage.aspx?t=4&s=9&lon=-122.870592962889&lat=45.5567243706482&alon=-122.86748068&alat=45.53418352&w=3&opt=0&qs=185th%7 cHillsboro%7cOR&addr=NW+185th+Ave%2c+Hillsboro%2c+ OR+97124) w/ fishing allowed.
Has anyone tried it - any bass?
Last year they stocked trout, I saw lots of families getting a line wet.
TIA
