If you would like to learn more about crank baits and how they are designed come to the next meeting of the OREGON BASS AND PANFISH CLUB . We are a non tournament fishing club that likes to meet people and have a good time sharing our knowledge and helping people learn new ways to fish . We are the largest Bass fishing club this side of the MISSISSIPPI RIVER .
Our next meeting is THURSDAY THE 27TH. Of January . And we are privileged to have TOM SEWARD OF YAKIMA BAIT (WORDENS LURES) He has designed many lures, and tested them in a special tank to see how they react and how they can be improved to make the fish react to them in a better way . We meet at PGE SERICE CENTER AUDITORIUM 3700 se. 17-th Ave. Portland OR AT 7;30 PM . Feel free to e-mail me with any questions All of our meetings will be on the 4TH Thursdays of the month .

I'll be there with with coupons worth $2.00 off admission to the upcoming Sportsman's show in February. I have lots of them and I will give anyone as many as they need. The coupons are good for any week-day.
Looking forward to a really great meeting.

Wish I could make it shalom, but the wife has other ideas for thursday evening. :depressed:

You will enjoy Tom Seward, I have had the oppurtunity to talk with him before. His understanding of what makes a crankbait work is amazing. You will definetly learn something.

Merle Rosier has retired to the coast at Oceanview. He no longer attends regularly but shows up some times.

Bill Egan is on the board of directors and is a regular attending member.

If you want I'll say hi to them for you.

Hi Stew,
If you worked with Bill Egan, you might know my good friend Edward Blackmon. Edward passed away a couple of months ago.

Yes I knew Ed. He was one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. I'm sorry to hear of his passing :depressed:
