I am wondering if anyone has any dealings with the rigid frame that North river builds for canvas tops . I think it might be a nice option to the fold down top without going to the full blown hard top .thanks

I have it...it is heavy and awkward to remove...the shelves are nice...it was very loud when I first got it (squeeky). The mounts on the boat and the pins from the top are not the same size, so, I had to shim some cushion in there to keep them from rubbing.
Not sure that I would do it again, but it makes my wife feel much safer than our old fold down top.

I have one on my 23 footer. I would do it again. No issues heading down the road at 65 mph and no wasted time at the ramp dealing with the top. I have never taken mine off and would doubt that I ever do.
I have a Custom Weld rigid top which I guess is pretty similar. A few times I wish I could put it down to be open for boondogging. Otherwise, I like mine.

I had built my own on my previous boat, but screwed it down instead of pins. I had also built a Wakeboard/Fishing tower and screwed the two together and the worked great. I had them powder coated, and got lots of compliments. I also think it help in the selling of that boat.
Currently have tha NR 23' Seahawk Hardtop, otherwise I'd of built another Tower and link it to the rigid frame soft top.
