I pray you get the strength you need to get over the mountain you are climbing. Listen to the doctors and then listen to your heart. It will work out in the end. You and your family are craddled in love. And carried in all our hearts. I hope the scary part isn't so scary in the end. Love you. Take care.
Ruth

You guys are awesome. I don't know how many times there have been decision needed to be made, and I can't make them. I have no education or reason to know what to do. :depressed:
However, I am certain that due to your prayers, God is leading me the right way. It is so much easier to rely on God for answers than to blindly guess.
Thank you so much for making this road easier than it could have been. And thank you to God, who has comforted me along the way. This has been kinda tough!

Jennie, as you embark on the next stage of your journey, I pray the physicians at Stanford have complete success with the procedure and you endure as little discomfort as possible. You are in my prayers!
The Lord does guide our decisions and feelings and it seems clear right now that His hand was on Jennie's shoulder when she asked Stanford if they would consider her case. It seems clear His hand was on her shoulder as she made the decision to go to Stanford for the procedure to restore circulation to her legs. And it seems clear that His hand was in action today in successfully restoring Jennie's circulation. Glory be!

I am one of those who has been watching the Angler's Chapel and admiring those of you who freely share your love of the Lord. Well, it is time for me to chime in. Without knowing Jennie, I have been encouragd by her strength in the face of adversity. I have talked often about her to friends, both believers and non-believers. When I meet her face to face in heaven, I suspect there will be many hugging her who found their way to an eternity with our Lord because of her faith during this trial. God bless you Jennie and I, like many others, continue to pray for your recovery.

Pete, I got to agree God is working in Jennies life and maybe God wants Stanford to "know" Jennie.... so much of her medical work can get done there. Certainly Jennie will be more accepting of going to Stanford if they do good work on her and maybe that is where they can fix up her shoulder and maybe eyesight too.
Funny, but the shoulder and eyesight seem trivial compared to almost losing her and having the aorta work done.
Jen, if your reading this I hope you realize how much we care for you. And how lucky you are to have such a great God, who has it all figured out... we just have to trust Him.
