Boat trailer question

I have a boat trailer that has the leaf springs underneath the axle, could a person in order to gain a little height on the back of the trailer put the leaf springs on top of the axle???
The back end of the trailer sets quite low to the ground and would like to raise it a bit. The tires are 15".

It's easy fix. Does the trailer have round or square axle? On round axle you have to put the pad on top . And on a square axle drill a hole for center pin on top of axle.

the axle is round.
