They call it the banana belt and today it lived up to it's name. A balmy 74 degrees in the shade as we pulled the boat out of the water.
My dad and I had the pleasure of hitting the south coast with Travis of TH Rods yesterday and although we had a number of opportunities we couldn't put any in the boat.
Travis had to go back to work today so my dad and I gave it a go on our own.
We were greeted by not so clear water (reminded me of fishing the Willamtte).
By working tight to the bank in the muddy water we managed to pick up a couple.

We missed the flooded rivers of our home waters and had a nice spring day with tee shirts all the way
And thanks again Travis for your hospitality
